My Ride: 535d M Sport LCI 2008 Space Gray/Dark Blue Dakota
Default

On my second 535d now - LCI - took delivery in March........
very happy with car.......

Paintwork not holding up too well though -on recent trip to France got showered with gravel twice - am looking to have 3M or similar paint protection film applied to all the front bits........

Any recommendations from someone who has had this done in UK....?

+1 here for the continent (in this case: The Netherlands or Germany)

not for my E60 but for my future E39 for which I am searching now.

By the way, is it possible to cover other parts as well? I'm thinking of the area around the boot lid and possibly the doors where other car's doors hit it in parking lots. The latter perhaps for temporary application only.

Thank you for your offer. Unfortunately I live in The Netherlands where ridiculous taxes apply on imported cars. And we also drive on the right-hand side of the road, the steering wheel location may get a bit of an annoyance after a while.

Got pics? let's start another thread.

I'm searching for a 530i touring E39 with light cream leather and at least memory seats and sunshaded rear windows. What I've found in various configurations in Germany are lots of goodies like double glazing (!), sports seats plus memory (rare), massage seats (very very rare), double sunroof or extra large (probably not factory). Unfortunately most of them not in one car at the same time
The 540i is a bit of a problem for me: I'd like to get that one but in the country I currently live in, additional cost plus operational it would be too much for too little fun. (read too much traffic and too high cost to enjoy a V8).

The step to an early E61 is a bit too big: higher prices and, to be honest, I don't like it enough to own it. I drive an E60 everyday for over a year now but it didn't steal my heart. The former model does.
