So I'm trying to make a final decision on this and kind of in doubt. I've got these numerous stone chips on the hood that
get on my nerves depending on current mood (sometimes I don't notice them, other times it looks like a complete disaster, you know the feeling). This lead me to think about repainting the hood, however I'm thinking - what if I'm not happy with the results, what if the paint job turns out not as I expected. Plus, one can always do this, maybe I should wait another year or so, then do it.
I'll try to take a good photo of the chips so that you get an idea what I mean, there are about 10-15 of really tiny "splash" like chips (I'm guessing this happened at once) that are barely visible from a yard away, and 4 bit larger ones (1 millimeter or so) where you see the white foundation underneath.
So I'm in doubt, I could use those 300-400 euro to buy something else instead of this paint job.

Hellooo........if you need the euros, just wait a while. You will appreciate the improvement more if it is not a financial pinch. Priorities, my good man, priorities!

if you paint it, then you'll be more paranoid and pissed about rock chips.
i say leave it or touch em up.
try a touch up kit like this:

Carbon can look pretty good on grey bud. I've got a good friend here in the UK who has a Nissan R34 GTR V-Spec, and he has a carbon bonnet and boot and it looks awesome. Each to their own obviously!

If I spend that money I would wait until you almost thinking to sell the car.
after painting the hood again you will get chips again and wast of money.
I had my 2009 car for 6 months now and already have 10 chips on the car but I just left it because I know after a few months it will happaen again so I just left it. in HK ir cost about 150 euros to paint the hood, this is why I dont do the clear bra. in HK
also if it cost that much to paint over there I would also put a full clear bra all over.

I'd go for it, but not sure if it really works as nice as they describe. Wouldn't that blending solution also do something to the paint surrounding that area?
Have you tried this and do those paint excesses really dissapear w/o damaging the oem paint?
This specific product will cost me almost 100 USD when shipped to Europe. I should try and find something similar over here if any
