Hi, I have installed a M5 steering wheel with the paddles, but only need to know the electrical wiring, can someone please give me some help, do i need to make a connection whith the mid console ? I saw a perfect DIY for installation in a 1-series, but they have a different connector on the back of the steeringwheel. A connection has to be made whith the bleu 4-wires connector in the mid console, to the connector on back of the steering wheel.
but in my car, this is another type of connector. They say you need to connect the yellow/black and yellow/white on the back of steering wheel connector (on a 1-series and 3-series) this is pin 2 and 4 to connect whith the bleu connector (4 pins) at the middle console whith the wires 2 and 3 (violet and bleu) this connector I have in my car, but the one at the steering wheel is a different one.
Whitch ones do i need to connect at the steering wheel back ?
can anyone please help me ? Bart.
