For some cars it looks good. I've been following that "trend" for awhile but never considered it for my own cars.
The owner of that rusted bimmer does super creative stuff with his cars. Have you seen photos of when he totally rusted out the entire car? Plus he's rocking some RS's on a trailer. Pretty good photographer too. I think he's a bit younger and is still in school.

yeah hes a member of the "stanceworks" forum and so am I
my te37's had some stretch in the rears due it the m3 offset and 11 inch widths and i loved it, so with a 10 inch width going down to 265 will compensate and give me a similar look same thing for going 235 in the fronts with a 8 inch width
yeah that rusted out car is really legit IMO, very creative as youve said and stanced very well.
the right amount of stance can do wonders for our cars
