I recently swapped the stock grills out for matte black (thanks to Joe and Nerwyll @ Trinity) but I'm not convinced that I like the look on Carbon Black. Thus, I've chosen to take it to the experts. What do you all think...leave them matte black or go back to OEM? Sorry about the second pic but I don't own a digital camera so I hurriedly snapped some shots with a relative's camera this weekend.

Since you asked...#1. I have a dark color as well (Platinum Grey) and decided I like the contrast on the grille. Kinda matches the silver wheels. I like the shadowline trim on my car, but IMO there really is too much of a good thing.

Ok, at first glance I thought your post read: Onions on my grill. I thought this was going to be about grilling
I can't honestly say which I like better until you give me two similar camera angels of the car with each set of grills. The camera angles make it difficult to differentiate.

I like the OEM quality better than the plastic ones....and in those pics, the OEM's look better. If you want them to be black and look awesome, get them painted to match the Carbon Black of the car.

i will personally go for matte black, but then again it's hard to compare when you take the pictures at different angles...
