Just ordered (after much forum perusing and talking to techies) R1Concept Premium Rotors and and Axxis Ultimate Pads (Ceramic/Kevlar Mix). I made the decision based on the same or better performance (purportedly) and far less dust. I wash my rims and the next day they are black. HATE THAT! I love to hear your feedback.

i did the cross drilled/slotted rotors and ultimate Axxis pad from them about a month ago. very happy with 'em. good grabbing power.

as far as the dust goes, i do still get quite a bit although not as much as previous stock pads. may be because i have the cross drilled/slotted rotors?

if you look closely re: ultimate pads, it doesn't claim to make less dust as the deluxe pads do. good luck

this is my set up:

Thanks! I got the drilled/slotted rotor as well and the Ultimate Pads. Maybe the guy was just trying to sell me on the Ultimates, but I definitely told him I wanted the option with the least amount of dust and he said that since it was a ceramic/kevlar mix, it would cut down on the dust drastically. Either way, I'm saving about $800 over what the dealer would charge me to go back with BMW OEM.

I curious if anybody has experience with the premium rotors and posi-quiet pads, I am getting ready to service my car. Any feedback on brake noise, dust, & reliability would be appreciated. Gf

Ultimate are less dusty then stock but do dust a hell of a lot more then the deluxe pads. Especially if you have a slotted rotor. You will also loose some pad bite when they are cooler but they are great on a long twisty road.

I'm less than impressed with my posi-quiets, they dust alot less than OE pads but there is still quite a bit of dust. They are not all that quiet either lol, I've been toying with the idea of replacing my rotors with a x-drilled set to see if it helps...

My car has 28K miles, is it recommended that I replace the brake wear sensors, when I do the rotos and pads?

You should replace the wear sensors along with the pads.

IDK How I missed this Thread. The Difference between the Performance Rotors and Premium Performance Rotors is one is Silver Zinc Coated and the Other One is e-Coated. We have these Rotors instock.
