Dont use a Dremel. It wont be as good as the Multimax Oscilatting tool. I have both and the dremel is way messier and tougher to cut with. The Multimax Oscilatting tool cuts it like butter.

There is confusion about OSS's offering.

This vendor's product is a knock-off of the Orion V2, it is not the real Orion V2. This particular vendor bought a few kits from us and then started marketing them as their own product.

As a clarification, E92 headlights can be baked open with minimal effort, E60 headlights cannot.

If they can be baked open, then we would do it. If there is a process we'll explore it. The knock-off comments stay the same, and you are not assured of the quality of the product. It looks like you have Orion V2 in your lights, you should have no fear of them ever failing for you

r9andy: the links you have provided does nothing to say that the headlights can be baked open.

And unfortunately that it sounds like I have to put OSS on blast, but the guy was secretive and is not helpful with the community in regards to the actual process. Not to mention that his service hours are deceitful, and overcharges. I offer Orion service install, and my buddy and I have figured out a ways to significantly cut down on the install time.

It simply does not take 4 days. Four days I can do 4 installs at least, lol.

Meh. Back in November, before I did the Orion mod, I had PM'ed him twice about it, and he never responds. Hell, he seems to be more concerned about his business of raking $600-$700 per install than helping the community. I wouldn't be surprised if he had said that just to throw people off.

Again, it's a bit harsh, and it definitely sounds like I am flaming, but truth is, he is not concerned about sharing with the rest of us how it's done.

Take it from the number of us that have done the Orion mod (I've done several installs myself): you can't bake it open.

I concur with Simon . There are people who offer services for a price and still share their knowledge freely. And there are business-minded folks that keep the DIY/ Tips, well, secret. There's nothing wrong with that, but don't BS this great forum.

Great video but I would never attempt this.
