no worries about driving in heavy rain

as for an air filter, there is a package with the BMC air filter available. a lot of customers do prefer running with a BMC but K&N is a great filter as well.

i'm a semi believer,
nice looking i must say, it brightens up the front!
but how does it work, if when a car is moving there is already a lot of airflow and air resistance?
surely at 100kmh all that air is already being pushed into the airbox in copious amounts to satisfy the rpm???
as it is static and not really channeling the fresh air in an air tight channel to the airbox like the real "ram"
intakes, i have my doubts.
personally guys, i like to think it works but i don't really think it makes much difference at all.
but nice to have on all the same!
Sorry that after 5 pages, no one can give you a straight answer. Shame on your Trinity.

If you look at the stock air ducting, air going towards the car will only pass by the intake opening. There is no direct airflow to the driver side duct so the scoop will capture and force air into the intake ducting.

I just installed the RPI Scoop last night and drove the car today. There is definitely a difference. Two Thumbs up! Installation was a breeze.
