I've just downloaded the offical acces. catalogue from BMW.de.....

there are official OEM things like the paint protection clear bra !!!!!!!!!! from BMW!!!!
and sport muffler for our cars !!!!!!

what is wrong with the dealers and all the system??/ why is not this accesories more promoted???
It took me a long time find a aftermarket clear bra..... and BMW offers one the whole time.... OMG....

Also BMW DE features the new Ipod full integration..... Can some German speaking member get more info???

This ipod story on bmw.de still refers to the old model 3, the X5, Z4 and 1 series, but not for E60 - looks like this july ipod intro is a BMW North America thing only

it does not say much except: "more info on request"

I just called my dealer and he said that the Sport Muffler was in development when the catalog was published last year. Also, when he tried to look it up he couldn't bring up the part number so he said that he's going to call BMW Munich today and find out what the story is. I'll update everyone when as he calls me back later today.

I just got a call back from my dealer. He said the sport muffler is in limbo at BMW. I guess they thought at the beginning of '05 they would develop one but decided later that is wasnt worth it... Which of course sucks for us but what can ya do..
