Hi
A CDC from a "older" 5 series ( E39 ) would denfently NOT work in a E60/61 , due to it works ( communicate ) over the MOST-Bus ( fiber ) system in a E60/61 , the "older" models ( E38/E39/E46/E53 ) have electrical I-Bus connection for communication.
CDC for E60/61 can be found on E-bay from 50 Euro and upwards , car must be coded for CDC afterwards.
