I installed three sets of LED AE from John @ Motorcepts on different vehicles. Like them, no issues.

Mtec V2.1 should work fine for your '06. I have the same year. When I installed mine, I took out the headlights. I found it much easier if you remove the headlight. Some people here were able to do it with a long nose plier. There was a youtube video on this topic also. Do contact John and find out about his new 5W bulb though. I think it's a bit cheaper than Mtec and supposedly a tad brighter.

The Kaibirds will fit, just make sure you get the 5w version and not 3w version, you can find them on eBay for $48.50 shipped, seller is Angel-lights-usa.

I was able to change mine out w/o taking the lights out. Youll see the light covers on the backside of the light housing located right behind your high beam flash lights. Righty tighty, lefty loosy. Once you unscrew the covers, you'll be able to see both your flasher lights and the angel eye lights. Best bet is to take out the high beam flasher lights to better get at the angel eyes.

The ICE lite is the brightest, best warranty available of all the plug and play kits.

ICE V2 is 4 out of 10 on a brightness level - this is the same brightness as Mtec V2
ICE V3 is 5 out of 10 on a brightness level (20% brighter than V2) this is the same brightness as Mtech V2.1+
ICE Lite is 6.5 out of 10 on a brightness level (30% brighter than V3)
Orion V2 is 9 out of 10 on a brightness level (and the best overall option)

We also offer the Genesis ICE which is about a 5 out of 10 for plug and play LCI and an HID solution that is 9 out of 10 as well.

The passenger side light is the new light....FYI. So needless to say I am pretty satisfied.

I did the MTech V2.1 and was more than pleased...... til one of them started flashing after less than 2 hours of use.
Contacted seller and will resolve....

They do flash several times when starting the car but go out, but when turning them on, seems like after they warm up (30-45 sec), the right one starts to flash / blink.....
