I gave up and bought OE from dealer. They charged me the same price as the Bosch Icons with 20% discount.
Fits perfect!

After reading the first few posts I went on a mission to get a set of bosch wipers 464 and 463 lol I never tried the install it before .. I bought it twice from 2 amazon sellers that supposely had the 464/463 .. the first seller only had the newer ones (22oe and 24oe) and I canceled it then the second one only had the 463 and not the other one :/ the seller shipped it out even though I said to cancel it I was in the process of returning the newer one then I read the rest of the thread LOL I could of saved $11

I battled these Icon blades for a while yesterday. Did a little research and found this and it was extremely helpful. It is tricky to get the bottom/lower clip in, but once you get the angle right, it snaps right in.

Bump... I've built cars from the ground up and number 17, my 550i, has me stumped on wiper blades. I tried the OE22 and OE24 Icons and they are too short to hook the assembly the way the stock blades do. The other adapter are too wide. I took the blades back to the store and even the guy that laughed at me from behind the counter conceded and gave up after trying...comparing... trying... comparing... rinse/repeat. So whats the trick? I clearly see how the oem blades fit. The inner piece overlaps the inset hook and then the rest snaps up into the seat. The icons, again, are too short and the other adapters arent correct or too wide.

I have a LCI, I doubt it matters, but you never know with these things.

Sorry to bring back an extremely old thread but I thought it would help someone else like me.
glad to see that it wasn't just me having difficulties with such a simple task.

The problem is the slightly longer lower tab that's preventing the lower tabs from engaging.

This is a YouTube video of the new instructions on top tab arms with that consideration in mind.
Rather than placing the front tab first, you put the back one in, and pull up and fit.

I will certainly get OE wipers from the dealership next time as they are dead easy to install.
