At least the brake dust shouldn't be too much of a problem!

It's unique! With those custom painted rims i doubt brake dust bothers you.

Ferrari sticker, did you purchase from Wide World of Cars in Spring Valley?

[/quote]How's this - I don't especially like the look, but the sentiments on your rear window sticker I like a lot. Your friend was lucky to have a guy like you remember him with so much love. And you're lucky to have had such a friend. Too bad you lost him too soon.

Now back to the look, I agree with the sentiment - it's your money!

Nope..I don't think the black rims work on the silver grey body color.

Always loved the radial 32 style wheel, but in this case i think powder coating them black takes away from the wheel & car. Not a fan of chrome either for the same reasons BUT its your money, your choice, your car & if you like it thats all that matters. Also nice personal touch regarding the loss of your friend. Anyways good luck with it & enjoy!!! Maybe we sould have one big meet for all of E60 owners from the NYC area

The color of the wheels and grill and tires and windows is fine. I don't care for the body color you picked to go with those colors. IMHO it would look best if the body were painted to match the windows or wheels. With the body color as it is, the nice big wheels and tires look smaller than they are and creates the reverse impression of what I think you want. Another impression I get from the pictures is that you are not finished or that the car is midway through a makeover.

They're ok. I like black wheels... especially those black / chrome lip wheels. Like this.

OK, I would like some opinions on my ride????????-dsc_0396.sized.jpg

I think they match better on lighter cars though, like silver or really dark cars like black which makes the chrome part stand out more.

3 Cheers for INDIVIDUALITY!!!
I've got 5 more months before I can *afford* the 550i that I've been dreaming of for quite some time now. As I notice E60s zipping by I'm seeing so many Silver/Gray models and they all look pretty much the same.

If your E60 zipped by me I'm sure I'd notice the difference. Love the width of your rear tires!

To each his own. I've had a few people ask me why I'd like to spend so much money on an "ugly" car. Well "F" Them... It's my money, and it's *YOUR* money.

Cheers,
Tony

OK.? Please be honest.? I already know from other threads on this board, that some of you are going to hate the look I'm going for here.? That's cool with me.? I'm truly interested in honest opinions.? Some of you might like it too.? Just to let you know, I have a few more cosmetic mods in progress.? A replica ACS roof spoiler and a replica ACS trunk spoiler.? An ACS exhaust tip powdercoated the same sapphire black metallic as the wheels.? The wheels are 20x9 fronts and 20x10 rear radial style 32 replicas.? I had them powdercoated sapphire black metallic.? The tires are 255-30-20 in the fronts and 295-25-20 in the rear.? I also have the black grilles to put in as well.? The mods are all cosmetic.? This is my everyday go to work car.? Oh yeah, the tint is 5% on the rear and 20% on the sides.
