Something I noticed on some E60s and I'm trying to figure out the reasoning... When a person puts a smaller than recommended tire onto a wide(r) rim then puts spacers on the backside to push the rims out, Are they trying to emulate a lowrider? Sorry I still consider myself new to BMW modding, this is not a slam, it is just a observation I'm trying to figure it out.

its not an emulation of that...its called hellaflush....whats recommended is just that..and usually because people dont want to see whats possible

do a search for hellaflush on here and youll see my photoshoots ive done...and how great an e60 can look when properly stanced

pretty cool origins huh? granted a lot of people are going way too extreme where they cant even DD their car without causing damage...the trick ive found is being able to pull off the look but also be able to mash the car in the city streets and not have to worry about damaging anything

right now ive got mine dialed in for just that
