Default Offset/Spacer Help

I am looking at some wheels that are 18x8, 5x120. I am waiting on confirmation but I think the ET is 42. What size spacers would I need to mount them on an 04 530i which is ET20. Thanks

ET 42 does not sound like E60 wheels. Are they OEM?

No they are not. They were after market wheels that came off an older 3 series. Everything is correct for size, 18x8, 5x120, except the offset. I thought I might be okay with spacers.

I think I finally found what I was looking for. So to have the wheel fitment the same as factory I would have to add 22mm worth of space. I might be able to get away with 25mm spacers to give it a more flush look. I wonder if the et42 will clear the strut and brakes until I can get the spacers.

I bet it doesn't clear the strut without a spacer!

I bet your right. I stuck my hand back there and didn't have much room.
