nyrz,

I posted the wrong link...sorry. Here's the correct one - TISCHER. I just checked and the prices are as I posted earlier. Click the link, select BMW (leave 2007), on the bottom left select "wheels" (twice) and then "alloy wheels". you'll see a list of the different OEM wheels.

Not to overkill this topic, but I also had bad experience with replicas purchase from Lake Shore Wheel and tire

Thought the quality and such seemed to be good, they just didnt last at all. I kid you not, but all 4 of my wheels are bent, 3 of them are beyond repair. Now I understand that theres two folds to this, because even the strongest and best wheel out there would be susceptible for damage but I cant imagine that of 3 of my cars, 335i, 545i, and g35 coupe , that only my 545i with the reps have damage , but yet none to the others who are OEM and low profiles as well. I drive the same route day in day out, and I am as careful as most enthusiasts out there.

I just believe the reps are not as strong or maybe its lake shore, a bmw rep also had told me the same that theres a misconception with auto enthusiasts, that they think beecause its heavier , its stronger (which most replicas are heavy, but not necessarily build better) I also experience that vibration issue as well, but hubcentric ring kind of fix that issue.

Im going to order some OEMs from Gary or whoeva gets the best pricing, just not worth the hassle anymore. My friend makes fun, because he makes a good point.. how do you buy a 50k+ car, but spend 600 on a pair of kicks? lol .. I deserve it

good luck
I had Lakeshore reps, car vibrated, finish wore off in about a year even though I waxed them regularly and one bent badly on a pot hole. Total waste of money that could have gone to the BBS wheels I bought later.

I have 19" 166 replicas with General Exclaim UHP's and I've been very happy with them. I have very slight vibration (looking at the passenger headrest) at about 70 mph, but I honestly think that I've only noticed this because of the other posts I've read on e60.net.

If I could do it all over again I'd probably get OEM, but I'm not dissatisfied with the replicas, but I think I got lucky. I've read several horror stories regarding replicas that I'd probably get OEM next time around. Although, I just bought new wheels and tires for my Z4 and I got replicas again (crosses fingers).

Wish me luck....19" 167 (M6) replicas for the Z4.

EDIT: The wheels I have on my e60 are from Lakeshore Wheel and Tire (modbargains for the 167 reps on the Z4). The 166's have been on my car for about a year now (7,000 miles) with the stock wheels on for the winter.

With Lake Shore, I think that it all comes down to the batch that is sent from China.
In my case, the Chinese make did not understand that the hole in the center of the wheel has to be exactly centered.

The wheel fit well on the car, but the millimeter of difference in the centering will cause massive vibration. I would have been happy if the only problem was that the finish wore off.

At least with BMW, they have a reputation to keep with their wheels.

Lake Shore seems to have the biggest website, so they keep getting new buyers.

I think that any wheel that vibrates (at any speed) is not cool and should not be sold to unsuspecting purchasers.
