Hey guys

i'm looking to replace the LONG manual shift knob on my car to a shorter weighted knob but wanting to stay oem. I had the mtech knob on my 3 series and it was ok, but I was wondering if anyone has tried the new bmw performance knob or possibly the e92 m3 knob. These 2 knobs on realoem look to be the shortest but the e92 m3 knob looks like it comes with the shift boot so I'm not sure if that will still work. Any help or pics would be greatly appreciated.

have you tried the weighted ZHP knob? that is by far my favorite. I don't know how it compares to the new E92 ones.

I had the zhp in my e46 I liked it but if the bmw performance one is even shorter that would be great. how much shorter is the zhp then the regular shifter?

+1 I agree. When I was looking for knob options, this was in consideration -- but IMHO, it just didn't fit the e60 interior properly.

the reason I am considering this knob still over the zhp knob is because this knob is shorter then the zhp.
