Wow that is a tough one, you can see if there is any part number on the bumper, call BMW parts and service and ask them for a part number for a mtech front bumper and compare. Other than that ask the seller to show you some receipt or paperwork showing that its OEM. If hes unable to provide any proof that the bumper is OEM then I personally would just assume that it is a replica, unless you are very trusting. ![Tease](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/tease.gif)
Also, if someone you know has a front lip diffuser for an mtech bumper, take it with you and see if it will fit the bumper for sale. Most replica bumpers fitment will be noticeably off when trying to fit a lip.

I was also going to say that I didn't think the aftermarket ones had the reflectors on the sides.
