Hey Guys,

I remember reading once that the tires that comes in the M5 wheel set won't fit into our cars.
I'm trying to buying from the owner on the m5 board.

Thanks

The M5 wheels + tires will not fit a standard E60. However, the M5 wheels with different tires will fit (see my sig below).

I 've read in forum, ppl have used M5 166 Tires in Rear right, only Front tires needs to be changed.

Im in the same boat as you. The difference is that I have the M5 tires and rims. The problem they are in the garage looking at my 550i sport. The tire will not fit. Unless you want to go through some modifications in hopes they will fit dont bother. I went to Tirerack.com and they also confirmed there is no way those M5 Tires will fit. The solution is 245/35/19 for the front and 275/30/19 for the rear.
The best deal and great performance reviews are the Avon Tech M500's @ $159.00 each front and $209.00 Rear. They are Non Runflat though. Which is good as far as Im concerned. Thats my 2 cents!

Goodluck.

those are the recommended tire sizes for the oem 166s on non-M5s, as well as other 19" oem wheels like the 167s or my 128s
