As the title states, i'm debating if i should install the exhaust or not because of fear that i might lose HP due to backpressure. Please advise, HELP!!!

Its been done on a 525 by a member in Singapore but he never said he lost HP. John go aftermarket. OEM exhaust are restricting and not free-flowing exhaust.

Isn't an M5 exhaust suppose to be a higher performance exhaust than my current stock exhaust? My goal is to get a deeper growl and maintain stock like quietness inside and outside the cabin which i think an aftermarket exhaust won't do. I dunno, i'm confused!!! LOL...

Can anyone confirm this explanation?

http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/html_product/...etorquemyth.htm

Seems logical and valid but then again i still need other people's opinion.

Go with Remus or Eisenmann for aggressiveness.

Tell me this...why would people dump their M5 exhaust for aftermarket John?

I see your point bro but i'm the conservative type of guy!

Now with the explanation from the above link, backpressure should NOT be a concern correct???

Depending on how the piping is done to fit the exhaust. AAA should know what to do.

PS: on the exhaust, I hope you are sure on the M5 exhaust is the right one. Here is the cons: it is heavy and second, it may sound a slightly deeper than stock.

We had the Eisenhaus Meisenshaft used in stock, but it recently sold.
