ok, this is coming from a past thread but it was of a different topic so i wanted to start this one to not confuse the 2.
just to be clear here..... a stock OEM M5 bumper will not fit on a 06 530I sport? I have been told by a few and i believe i even read a few posts on here that it
fits fine... this includes the dealership saying it wil (yes i know, most dealerships dont know squat about any modifications). however i am also being told it will not fit properly.... so what is it? any feedback to what exactly does not look right... any one with personal expereince? i would like to know so that i can speak to my guy at the dealership and get some feedback from him so we can work out something. thanks guys

it wont fit 100% perfect with the stock wings, but anu good bodyshop who is willing to play around should get pretty damm close to a decent fit like you said its been covered on the site many times

It fitsssss, everything fit, pls stop with the same topic every 2 days

The M5 is an E60 exactly like 520i, 530i, 540i, 550i, etc. except for the differential.

Alex the m5 wings are different they physically wider then the non m5 model hence there will be a be fitments issues, however as I already mentioned a good bodyshop should be able to get you a good fit with your standard wings.

Deja vu?

You'll have a few mm offset around the fenders.

Kail, you know I have M5 bumper with stock fenders... M5 brackets + removing foam + job and it will fit perfectly.

Anyone have close-up pics of an M5 bumper on an non-M5 E60? I just picked up an M5 bumper and plan on putting it on soon.

Did you guys also get the M5 air ducts or did you go with some other solution? I checked with my dealer but the M5 ones were expensive as hell compared with regular Ms. I don't care too much about the brake cooling thing but I figured I need something in those vents to avoid getting stuff into the engine bay.

Yes Alex, I know I need to get the bumper installed soon but I still have half a meter of snow here so it will take another while to get it done
