I'd like to create yet another Black Beauty here in Chicagoland. I was inspired by Nick's e60 from Greece! My question is this: will OEM 167 wheels for M6 with offsets of F: 12 and R: 17 fit on my e60? Efharisto Poli.
(No Greek jokes please!)

i guess that they would fit but with max. tire size 275 on the rear.
Nick is the expert. You should pm him in case he misses this thread.

Thanks for the reply, 530i_msport.
275 at rear sounds good, but 285 would look awesome from the rear view if it fits, unless it sticks out past the fender.

If you want 285 maybe you should find the 167s that are optional for the m5 which have ET28.Then i dont think 285 is a problem.

My Ride: 2006 550i
Build date 11/2005
options include:
cold weather package/ convenience package/premium sound package/ sport package/sunshades/Navigation/ V3 cradle/ OE 166 wheels/M-tech upgrade/M rear spoiler/ racemesh m-tech grill/racemesh kidney grills/M5 mirrors/M5 steering wheel/ HID fog light conversion/ M5 SMG paddles
you can get 167s with a 28mm offset just like the 166 wheels. They are made the M5 rather than the M6. If you havent purchased yet those are what you should get - contact QUAD_M for a good price.
Then you could easily fit 285/30/19 wheels and even use spacers (i use 285 with the 166 on a 12mm spacer - it rubs over REALLY rough road).

I'm askimg because each brand has it's different form (tread width) on the exact same (285) tyre.

Hi guys,
I think someone mounted 285 on ET 17 / 167s with no rubbing issues, but I can't recall. I think also that his car was extremely lowered. I will try to search.

I didnt know he was running 285 in the rear. But he also has H&R springs and i think that someone said he has rolled his fendersand put the spacers eventually.
