I just picked up my 535i and i'm thinking about getting a tune. I'm in SOCAL so OE Tuning has been recommended to me. It looks like for $690 they can flash the ecu and get me another 70HP. Who's got some experience?

have you read reviews for oe tuning?? i wouldn't recommend going to them coz of some issues they had recently..
i just did a tune last week, took out my bms powerbox as well.. nothing to aggressive about 18-20hp..but for your car it will gain about 60-70 hp...
did it through this low key tuners here in LA
check his website out: singh autosport
really happy with them and pm me if you have any other further questions

Is there a tune that you guys would recommend for my 07 530i? I believe it is the N52 engine, and so far all I can find is a 10+ hp gain, bms tune. Is that really all that is available for the N52? I've had it for 3 months and I am craving more power. The car is stock and I know the exhaust can be replaced (too expensive right now) for more power. I'm considering an RPI scoop, but does that really give you any hp gain? How much is an ECU tune?

i just recently did a tune for my n52 engine and i love it.. i would suggest that you invest on a rpi exhaust, scoop helps but
not as much, need a charcoal delete filter as well after installing the scoop.. when you get the exhaust then i will direct you
to the proper ecu tune.. our engine is not really design for track or for racing, but with the ecu tune i did, it maxes out the full potential of the engine.. now i'm driving like i have a brand new engine.. its not a really aggressive tune, just about right for the engine that i have... once in awhile it feels good to step on it

Really? With all the other flash and piggybacks options out there for the N54, who would even think of using OE Tuning? Whether these allegations are true or not, none of the other N54 tuners even come close to having these claims brought against them...
