I've put it the Camaro a few times. Its a pretty good way to clean out the gunk that accumulates in an engine.

Plus it takes a tank or two for the ECU to remap for the higher octane fuel mixture. And more importantly a 12 oz bottle of octane booster will do nothing to raise the octane of 15 gallons of fuel.
You're better off with a gallon or two of toluene - but that is another thread of endless discussions and no action.

i am suprised to read all this, here in australia theres 98 and 99 which the call super premium unleaded

You have a different measuring system. The majority of countries use the RON (research octane number) on gas pumps, while the US uses R+M/2, which is the average of the RON and the MON (motor octane number).

Generally, 98 RON = ~93 R+M/2
