I have a friend that works at Advance Auto and one day when I was with him I saw octane boosters on the shelf and wondered how well they worked. Or if they were actually dangerous for our cars. I was told to stay away from obscure, shady companies, but I was seeing boosters made by NOS and Lucas. I figured I would get a bottle or two and mix it in with fuel when I fill up next time.

I think the stations in my area run 93 or 94, I'm not sure, and I have no problem with it as far as the car's performance, but I was wondering what if I tossed in a bottle of this booster which claims to bump up octane up to six grades? I know, it sounds too good to be true and if it was in fact so effective, people would be buying it all the time, but I still wanted to give it a try if it wasn't going mess anything up.

Your thoughts?

I used it in my last car, I did definitely feel a difference. I wouldn't wanna use it in this car though, not sure if it damages anything.

Honestly, your driving a finely tuned car with anti knock sensors. You'll be 100% fine with 93 octane. Even 91 octane.
Save that junk for a Honda Civic...

octane booster dillutes so much it takes 10 to 12 bottles to increase your octane 1 percent, biggest waste of money ever!
