I considered those (on ebay) but decided against it for all chrome instead. (Of course, the geniuses at k2motor sent the stock grill instead, so I am waiting for what I ordered to arrive.)

I know, I know, I should have gone with the matte black, especially since my E60's black. But I kind of like the chrome look on a few areas of the car, I think it sets things off. I don't have shadowline, just the stock chrome. I did just get the CF side mirror covers, though--largely because the previous owner apparently ran through a briar patch and the sides of the mirrors are scratched up pretty badly.

I'm waiting until the winter ends here, when I can put my 166s back on, install the grills, new //M aluminum pedals, the CF covers, and I am debating whether to drop it with springs and shocks--but the roads here suggest maybe I shouldn't...

it looks ok, but not a big fan of CF grills, it makes the car look cheap even if the grills are not from ebay. IMO

I had the same exact pair on my car and after about a few months I took them off. I got a good deal for the real pair. It looks soooo much better than the fakes.
