What about Passport bmw, aren't they still a dinan dealer? Or Owings mill bmw in Baltimore,md. I think they are a dinan dealer.

 

I live in Bethesda so Passport or Towson BMW is too far for me. I also do not hear anything good about them.

 

Go to At Speed Motorsports in Hanover Md. Bob Miller the owner raced P cars and Steve Dinan was his engineer. tell him I sent you, I am considering the S package currently.

I did the S package only simply because I wanted the smoother ride due to excessive highway driving - I also went with the stage 3 software instead of stage 2 - cost a little more but worth it. If this were just a week-end car I would go all out if I had the money.

Check out the Dinan website - www.dinancars.com - and you can look at everything they offer for our bimmers.

Be aware though that BMW has come out with their own performance products line that is available on the 1 & 3 series only at the present time. Sounds to me like BMW is wanting to get away from companies like Dinan & offer similar products themselves. My dealer just dropped Dinan which means I have to travel about 2 1/2 hours to get any software work done - bummer.

Any upgrade you do will certainly be enjoyed.

do you mean the stage 1 suspension package? Not sure how the S package helps with the ride for the highway?
