noob question for the audio/electronic guys
So I have a 2007 530i with nav and all the other goodies. I am trying to do some research through the forum to see if I can set up the system to watch videos via AV cable or via the built in DVD drive for the Nav. Again I tried to research but being a Noob, I am not understanding any the acronyms being thrown out there regarding this. If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Built-in system will not play video or have any AV input.
You'll need additional external module to achieve what you want either OEM way (expensive) or non-OEM way using various different kind of hardware.
