Is the AIB bulb in non-xenon headlamps located in a different place than in xenon headlamps?

I've looked into both my non-xenon housings for the past 20 minutes and still can't see where it goes?!?! A search of the forums didn't bring up anything... I'm feeling extra dumb today

 

From what I've heard, the non-xenon lights have 2 bulbs for each headlight (total of 4 for both), so I would guess that they are in a slightly different location.

 

I don't know what to do now... I was getting so excited about getting rid of my yellow eyes and having a set of fresh white rings instead. I don't believe I ordered them without noticing that they are for xenon e60s...

Glad I could help even though it probably wasn't exactly what you were looking for. I imagine that whatever retailer you bought them from would be okay with switching them for non-xenon ones. If not you could always try to sell them on here or on ebay, I'm sure there are a bunch of people that would be interested.
