So my new coilovers came in today and i popped them out of the box to have a quick lil peaky at them. Im liking what I see so far, build quality is solid and is very similar to KWs coils in construction.

Spring rates are 12kg front and 6kg rears, and it can lower all the way down to 2.5 inches.

They are 4 way adjustable coils which is fine as with my KW v2's I never adjusted them i just slammed them at 2inches and left it alone.

These retail for $850 plus $60 shipping and I have read a lot of reviews about them online. Basically what I got about the reviews was this:

1)People that had never tried them or used said they were garbage and to stay away and just buy KW (Which I had, specifically the V2 and for the price I was not impressed. They clanked all over the place but the ride was very good). I thought that this was pretty funny as I remember with JIC and Megan racing came into the Subie world and everyone crapped all over them.

2) Bmw owners that had them (5 series, 7 series) loved them. One has been using them for over 3 years now with no issues in the coil at all which is expected.

My main reason for going this route was basically to get the look im going for i need coilovers, but I had the "best option" for our cars and after everything was all said and done to the tune of $2400 the ride was similar to Tanabe, Tein and some other setups I had but for a lot more. Just buying springs kills your shocks so obviously you need to buy them but new shocks are almost $800 and then springs are $300 then ad install and your looking around $1500.

There are a lot of companies out there that make good products but due to where they are made or their lack of advertising they get crapped on. I think these might just be the medium ground for those of us with E60's that want coils but arent pleased with the options at the expense.

Dont get me wrong, im not expecting these to be like KW at all. Different designs, materials etc. However, I am looking for a decent product with a good performance return for the expense. KW was not that, atleast not for me.

When sam over at sleek pops these on for me ill document the install and give some feedback on the ride and performance of the coils.

Im pretty much expecting a Eibach drop with shocks or H&R drop with shocks. If I get that Ill be pleased, if I get more ill be very pleased.
