Dumb Questions #1:

I just got some LED license plate lightsd from Brabus (thank you)

how do I get to the bulb, I tried prying the think black plastic casing around the clear plastic license plate light, and I don't want to break anything, so in steps how do I get to the license plate bulb so I can swap it with my new LED bulb

Dumb Questions #2:

I bugged Brabus enough with this, I feel bad for the continuous questions so maybe you guys cna help me out
I also bought h7's with resistors for my 530i 2004
Where do I attach the two ends of the resistor wire too exactly? and a step by step guide on just what the hell to do with the resistors from a noob point of view would be nice to help me with the install here

Question #1

Stick your flat head screw driver in the slot and you have to push it to the side and then you can pry it out. It's on a hinged mechanism. Did that make sense? You might have to push hard to the side to get the black plastic casing to move. Once you see it move you can pry it out.

AHH ok cause I was in the owners manual and it said push it to the LEft with a flat head and I was pushing hard, so hard it slipped out and cut my finger F%ck

so once i push to the left and see the entire black casing slide I have to pry the black casing part up and out?

im assuming if I am working on the Left light

i push it left and pry up and open the right medial side of that black casing?

You may notice that on the black part of the casing is a rectangular slot. That's where you stick a flat head screw driver in and slide the whole assembly to the side. I don't quite remember, but the direction it slides to, is the side where it hinges so you can pop the assembly out. I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Regarding Question #2, what bulb are you trying to replace?

THE OWNERS MANUAL SAYS YOU SLIDE IT TO THE LEFT, THE OWNERS MANUAL IS WRONG YOU ACTUALLY SLIDE IT TO THE RIGHT AND IT POPS RIGHT OUT TOOK 2 MIN TO DO

THAT WOULD EXPLAIN WHY I WAS HAVING PROBLEMS

MUST HAVE HAD A POOR GERMAN TO ENGLISH TRANSLATOR WHEN MAKING THE MANUAL HA HA

This is not a diagram of a H7 bulb, but I'm sure it's the same concept. Just wire each end of the resistor to each conducting contact point of the H7 bulb.
