Lomag, we are talking about the state colored plastic around the climate contols and the CD/DVD. The area that was a lighter colored grey or cream plastic MY04 now wood in MY05 is between this and ashtray and surrounds the DSC, PDC and heated seat buttins

I checked yesterday again at the parts counter. They have the part for the cubby, I posted the part number earlier. They still don't have it for the non cubby NAV models. They say its just a matter of time since the part is affixed to have the E60s on the lot.

believe it or not, i gave that part number to my dealer's part mgr and he said he'll call the warehouse and check on that but still haven't heard from him .

When i looked it up on the EPC today, it shows to be one part. I will intensely research this tomorrow and try to see what the problem is. It is PURE HELL looking up ANYTHING with BMW's wood. I expect to see a parts bulletin coming out soon............

It is one part from under the AC Vents that surrounds the AC contols and the one or two CD/DVD drives and audio volume (grey plastic) attached to the bottom half (wood) which surrounds the cubby or not if you have NAV
