If you are getting the same answer I can get it for you here and ship it to you. May end up costing a little more since you would have to pay the Euro rate. Would ship it USPS.

Wow, I'm jealous! How long did it take from the time the dealer ordered it until you got it? What was the part number too?

Yes, Anthracite wood trim, Cubby, No NAV.
BMW part # 5 51-45-6-951-022

Took a few weeks to get it. I'm not sure I see how to install it (all thumbs over here)!!!

There are two mount holes in the upper left and right corners which roughly must have their anchor points adjacent to the outer margins of the aircon vents. The rest appears to be a press-fit, similar to the trim piece on the rear center console.

It would appear that I would have to remove the wood trim piece that overlies vents and door lock/hazard light switches to get access to the top retaining screws.

Let me know if there is an easy way...

Nope.
That's how to do it.
The instructions were posted here before, and that's exactly how to do it.

Dealer ordered my parts around mid-last month and has no idea where they are. Told me since they're parts on the new 2005 models that their availability isn't up to par yet. No rush I guess though.

DIY is easy. I already took the area apart myself to see if I could. There is no screw to remove in the hazard lights area. You just need to remove the hazard button and unplug it to completely remove the long trim piece so its not in your way when working to remove the center trim piece.

How does one get that friggin Hazard switch off ???

I've been prying away, with no luck !!! Tried going from the bottom with the door lock swich pressed in. Then went over the top, still with no luck...

There's two clips one on top and one on bottom. It just pops out... don't be scared.
