I went with 19's with 245/35 front and 275/30 rear.
Is it me or does the throttle response seem much better with the B&B?
Funny thing I was contemplating going back to the stock muffler until my wife took her first ride with the B&B installed and she said she thought he sound nice.

Awesome wheels. I considered getting these at one point. They look good on an e60.
The B&B muffler has such a sweet note to it. For about two weeks I preferred turning off the music and just listening to the exhaust.
I drive a manual and downshifting/rev-matching is such a joy with this.
I wonder why you quoted me here as your post had nothing to do with my comments. Anyway...From your signature, I take it that you've got 9" all around. A 10" width in the rear wheels will help to fill that space even more. Especially from the rear 3/4 angle shot you posted (obviously won't notice a 1" wider wheel too much from a direct side shot of a vehicle).
Also, the "35" or "40" in the dimensions of a tire is not measured in millimeters. Instead, it is a "percentage" of the first number which IS measured in millimeters. Getting a 40 series (vs. 35) will make for a taller tire (assuming the width stays at 275mm), however, it's not going to be "5mm" taller.
Do your sums and tell me how much taller the wheel is I am aware of the percentage aspect of the tyre ratio. I make it 96.5 to 110
oh and sorry for hitting the quote button as opposed to the reply one
