Unhappy

Hi. i would like to buy some new wheels eventually, and would like some opinions on the choice between the
breyton magic Sport or the BMW 166 wheels (standard on the M5).

I currently have a Carbon Black 535d.

i like the breytons because of the several spokes on the inside and the aluminium edge. Are there other wheels similar to this but nicer? i had on my previous e39, the RH pheonix 19" and even though they were very nice wheels, they were not strong at all !!

I'd love to hear your opinions on style and choice.

The first picture is Breyton Spirit, not Magic. Its also available in black (see picture). That would be my choice by the way, in combination with carbonblack would look great.
But anyways, so i would go for Breyton since the 166 is too common and especially in Holland u can see it under all kinds of BMW's in replica form, not a special wheel anymore.

Good point Georgos - thanks for the tip. i never did like the black wheels - felt it was too dark... but my mind is changing slowly!

The 166 is a really nice wheel (and a quality one too as OEM) but it you feel they are
too common go for a other QUALITY wheel.
If the wheels are not the best quality it will cost you twice (since you after a while
have to buy new rims).

OEM styling 172 is a very nice wheel also.

In my opinion 20" is too much!

19" with NON RF tyres gices you atleast some comfort.

I would go for 19", cause 20" might be a little too much for aftermarket wheels and the ride on 19" is still ok but on 20" the ride might irritate u after a while.
Here is a good tip since u like the metal colored Breyton Spirit (the first pic). I ran into them yesterday, called the guy and the wheels can go for 3.000 euro. Originals, one month old, incl. tires.
Saves u a lot of money so u might consider it.

neither 166 or Breyton Magic, 166 too often seen, and Magic is just not right on a 5er!!

definitely going for Breyton Spirit though....
