So I decided to upgrade my steering wheel and shifter. While I was doing the steering wheel might as well get the paddles installed too. My car is a 06 Pre LCI and didn't come with paddles so I looked online to see if this was possible to just add and have it work. Couple of board members recommend I go to MotiveMods. So I went ahead and ordered steering wheel, paddle kit and shifter. I have to say the guys over at MotiveMods gave me the best customer service experience I've ever had buying anything. Prior to installing the steering wheel I had popped off the airbag which triggered the air bag light on, so after I installed the new steering wheel and airbag I still had the airbag light on. I was lucky that they are located in California and had some business to take care of here in the bay area. They flew out to reset the airbag light on my car and installed my new shifter. BTW resetting the airbag light took about 3-4min tops BMW dealership charges $189!!! I'm a happy camper new steering wheel and paddles look great! Anyone looking to add paddles to their E60 this mod is well worth it IMHO. A big thanks to the guys over at MotiveMods for A+++ customer service.

P.S. As you can see the lights on the M shifter are fully functional
