I was searching for a few days mods for my LCI headlights to make the AE brighter.
When i bought my LCI Headlights, i bought a set of LED H8 AE from Ebay, turns out that those were a waste of money and aren't bright at all.

A day ago when i was cruising , i saw this fellow with some very bright AEs so we stopped and chat for a little while, turned out that he bought the car this way a few days ago, i haven't seen this kind of LCI headlights ever, i just saw that there is a Romanian website that sells them and i don't know how good quality they are and if i should trade my headlights for those.

I attach some photos with his car.

PS: The difference is that it has WHITE eyebrow, and in the cornering light section there is nothing, just mirror, like the pre-LCI headlight.
Strange.

If I have to make a guess ... I don't think that's a factory OEM BMW headlight ... ... but that's just me ...

... or ...

That is LCI halogen headlight ...

I don't think the OEM ones come with white eyebrow. Those are really something else, and for sure not OEM.

Off-topic, the grilles look-like they're from 6 series or 3 series..or is it just me?

The aftermarket/OEM AEs look pretty good

Those are not OEM headlights, I can tell you that for sure. The shroud and the reflector housing is noticeably different. The LCI halogens have a matte silver reflector shroud, and the projector shroud is not chrome. And white eyebrows was never stock.

As for the grilles. I have seen those on eBay two years ago. They made it for 5 series, but they probably didn't see one so you don't really see them on eBay much anymore.

I have the same lights installed, they are not oem, but look great. They will only fit pre-lci models. They 100% plug & play.

Well, the car you see in the pictures its an '09 5 series, he also changed the tail lights with some cheap crap from ebay. I also think that the car was involved in a crash and that's why he changed the headlights, because the fitment of the hood and front bumper is not ok.

Anyway, i was just thinking if changing the original LCI with these would be a good business or not? (my car is PRE-LCI and i firstly bought LCI and now... i seen these)

Here they are.Lights They are indeed aftermarket. Kinda cool really, but not cheap.Dunno if they will work for auto leveling/active xenons.

That reminds me, John was trying to set up a GB, and I am guessing it probably would've been these headlights. For whatever reason, be it quality or something, I think John ultimately didn't move forward with it.
