I agree that there is no comparison but with a different spin. There is no comparison because the M5 and the 7 are in two entirely different classes and serve two totally different functions. If you want the ultimate in performance that BMW has to offer in a sedan, go M5 (which is my dream car). But if you want big time room and superior comfort, go with the 7 Series.

I think that they are both great cars and our fellow member FlyM5 is fortunate to have had the privilege of owning both.
