WOW, $799 for the RPI and $161 for the Magnaflow . Thats a big price difference.

Check your PM buddy

Yes the Magnaflow is A LOT cheaper, but if you want the performance gains get the RPI.

Magnaflow is a generic muffler. No real difference between this and the common mufflers you see at ricer shops really. They are made in the same fashion and unless you have a full mag setup you will lose power. Also magnaflow has extreme dronning and it resonates like crazy.

RPI is a performance exhaust specifically for the M5 and half of that fits on the 525i/530i

Dyno gains were good and the sound cannot be beaten for the money.

I almost went with magnaflow but I wanted to treat my 530i to a real exhaust that I wouldnt feel the need to upgrade later on.
