I think real-world tread life is very dependent on driving style and conditions. I've seen one tire deliver 35K + miles for one driver and 15K miles for someone else driving an identical car. That said, I'm probably going to go with the same tire next month when I get my wheels powder coated and set up with a new all-season tire set-up to replace my General Exclaim UHP tires. Even though I have about 30% tread left on them they are finally getting a little noisy and I'm wanting a bit more rubber for the winter driving months (even with my all-wheel drive xi). If you go Tire-rack don't forget to shop/buy through the MrRebates link in my signature for additional rebates there and other on-line stores.

Rotation is a big debating point.
Personally I rotate front to rear, but never right to left. I like to keep the rolling direction the same.

get the DW instead of the DWS, i got those and love them.
Not good idea to rotate left/right, it's better to do front/rear.
Personally I can't do that because I have the 245/275 setup so I'm stuck.
