My Ride: 2004 530i Silver Grey, Grey Dakota Leather, Premium, Adaptive Xenon, L7.
Mods: Sprint Booster V1, 8000k GP Thunder Headlight, 8000k HID fogs, LED Interior, LED License Plate, Rear Red Reflectors
Wish List: Mtech Kit, Style 172 Rims, KSport Coilovers, Shadowline Trim.
Good morning E60 folks,
Well, since I will probably be keeping my 530i till it falls apart, its about time to change the suspension in the coming months with 85k on the clock. I was wondering, what would be the most cost effective choice to get handling like one with sport package. I drove an 08 535i sport the other day and it is leaps and bounds better than mine. I'd like to stay under 1k for parts for shocks, struts, and springs. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have KSport coilovers that are going for $950 shipped brand new. There is height and rebound adjustments. They are pretty popular with people on the forum.

Can you do $950 for the KSport coilovers for a 2006 550i?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I probably won't be doing anything for a bit, maybe not until taxes next year depending on how things go. But ill definitely have the ksport coil-overs in mind when I pull the trigger.

How does the Ksport addition impact on the stock springs? In other words, are the stock springs going to last well over 100K? Do the coilovers allow for longer spring life?
