I just ordered some Koni Struts: Part #: 8741 1476SPORT
Should I tackle this project my self? or should I take it to a shop? (if a shop, where?) Im in Southern California (in Chino close to LA, SGV and OC)
These are only the fronts, rear struts are in good condition!
Any advise or recommendations would be awesome!!

You can do either, if you want to take it to a shop I'd suggest Trinity Autosport, they do a great job of taking care of members here - they are in Tustin, and they are members here (Trinityautosport and Nerweezy).
I would do it myself, but you do have to remember, regardless how you do it you will need an alignment after the install so figure that into your budget.

Depends on what you're going for, if you want OEM look/feel then either one works well. If you're going for a lowered stance then more members here have chosen the Bilstiens, even Nerweezy had Bilstiens on hos old E60. I went straight from OEM to coilovers, so it'd be best to ask Weezy.

Thanks pjinca...
I wanted to go with stock feel and look, then wanted to get 166 rims staggered setup...

Any ideas on a shop or shops that can install these?

Did you contact Trinity? Are you sticking with the stock springs or replacing those as well? Let me know, if nothing else works out - I work cheap, LOL
If it's just the fronts, no problem, maybe 90 minutes work.

I did get a hold of nerwyll, seems like he is busy at the shop. I will be using the stock springs so the only thing to be changed is the struts, the fronts only , leaving the rears OE. If possible, I could do most I the work if I get some guidance if that's fine with you, I also don't have many tools that will do the job, I think a press is needed to use the OE spring...
