So the steering wheel was pretty chewed up when I bought the car...never got around to changing it out till I asked D & Cal at SonicMS for some suggestions.
They pointed me to Ivan of DCT Motor Sports, housed within SonicMS. Cool guy, hit him up at sales.dctms.com, bring your car around and he'll show you a ton of pictures of cars he's done. He can add the thumb grips, carbon fiber, alcantara, and ergonomics to the wheel if you want, plus any color stitching scheme.
Tada!
It's essentially a re-wrapped core, up to spec with the ///M Stiching, preforation, new leather, and a thicker grip.
Here's the old, I think it fell apart because of the steering wheel warmer...who wants hot hands when they drive anyways?
In with the new, thanks to D and Ivan. It looks hella thick huh?
Preforation!
Another shot, it doesnt feel or look as thick as Day 1 for those who may be concerned with the thickness. I've been squeezing all over the wheel to break it in.
Last shot, feels really nice!
And I picked up the RPI scoop with the AFE Dry-Filter while I was at it.
Rims next!
