Pukulan...

i am considering the dinan throttle body as well. Here in FL the BMW dealership I plan on getting my 530i from is an official autorized Dinan dealer. My questions are...did you get your throttle body installed at a BMW dealership? Does it interfere with your BMW warranty in any way? Did you have to flash your computer after the install? These issues will realllly affect where and how I will buy my 530i, your info would be appreciated.?

Hi 530i-fly,
Yes, I had the dealer install the throttle body and is covered under the warranty. As long as the dealer is an authorized Dinan dist. ( make sure u ask them) No flash was needed and only charged for an hour install.
Hope this helps

alecs,

Welcome to the forum!

I don't understand exactly but I think you're asking if the wheels will fit your car.

The wheels will fit just fine. No problems.
It's a BMW wheel so it has the 5-120 bolt pattern. Just be sure to order the correct tire size for the wheels. Get 245/35-19 for the front and 275/30-19 for the rear.

They fit fine, and I'm on H&R Coilovers to boot. Totoseow and I put our staggered 166M's shod with PS2's on Monday, and I haven't been able to wipe the grin off my face yet!

H&R Coilover Suspension Set replaced my Sport Suspension. The car sits 25mm lower in the front, and 15mm lower in the rear than on Sports Suspension. I can lower the car by a further 30mm all around, ie I can 'slam' the car.

Even with the lower ride height, I have no problems with tires rubbing at all.

Totoseow is a buddy of mine here in Singapore who has earned a reputation for shooting his mouth off on this forum, and driving like a mad man on meth amphetamine, both of which are higly illegal in Sungapore.

He tracks his car at Sepang F1 race track in Malaysia from time to time, and has extensively modded his 530iA. He replaced his 124 18" original wheels with 166M 19". I FedEx'ed two sets of Mich PS2 tires from the US (through Tirerack) which arrived on Monday, which is why we both did our wheel swap at the same time.

Sorry I wasn't clearer in the first place.
