Just curious why you're running non-M tire sizes? You're losing contact patch/traction by not going with 255/35/20 and 285/30/20.

These are the tires that they came with. Once my car is lowered and wheels pushed out, I think it will work out just right. With the 275 rear on a 10.5 wheel, I have a slight stretch. I think it looks real nice like that and it shows off the wheel more.

Maybe later I'll change the sizes, but for now I'll just use them and see how I like them.

Pushing out your wheels doesn't change the fact that you lost 10mm of contact patch per tire. And most people use 285 on a 10" wheel for the M5 so if you put that on a 10.5, you'll still have a bit of a stretch. But guess if you like them the way they are then..... haha

BTW, if those wheels came off a regular E60 and had offsets built for a regular E60, you'll probably need at least 20mm spacers in the front. That should be more obvious once you lower the car. Looking forward to seeing it progress.

Yeah, the offsets were made to be flushed with the Non M E60. I'm currently running 12mm spacers up front, but I think I'm gonna move them to the rear and add 20mm spacers up front. Right on the money bud!

True, I do loose a good amount of traction or contact patch running with these specs, but it should only be until I'm ready for new tires. I figure the tread is still almost brand new, so why not use them for the time being. LOL

Any member with a non-M need almost new Falken tires for their 20"?

Your definitely right on that though Tony; I will definitely consider it. Thanks bud.

If those offsets are for the regular E60, and if we keep the hellaflush part out of the discussion for now, then the rears shouldn't need any spacers since the offsets are the same between a regular E60 and an M5. For the fronts though, you definitely should do 20mm. I had to use 20mm when I put my R10s from the 545 to the M5 and also running 20mms now for my QD7s cause they make them with regular E60 offsets. You can probably go 25mm in the front but 25mm in the rear?? I think the wheels will stick out about 10mm or more if you do that. Again assuming we're talking standard look, not hellaflush.

You obviously know more about offsets than me. haha

I'm just speaking from observation. I look at my rear wheels and imagined his are sitting about the same and just can't imagine putting 25mm spacers on there.
