HA! I wish both were mine. Mine's the black one in my sig with the current wheels I have. The Interlagos Blue one above belongs to member Darren_Dallas on M5Board. I was just showing you the wheels on his car. BTW, his car has the Dinan stroker engine putting out about 650hp+.

I agree on the tire weights; one of the reasons I have PS2s on my car also.

Car looks great! Looking to start upgrades on my 2008 535I soon. Do any of you know if I can get 22x9.5 front and 22x10.5-11 on rear and not rub? Car is still all stock, but has the sport package on it! Also any suggestions on where I should start, kits ,wheels, and add-ons. Planning on keeping this car a long time and buying another project later.

There are some members here running 22s although I personally think that's way too big for the E60. Member Wheelzplus had 22s and no rubbing on his 530 (sold) but I don't remember what suspension he had. You might want to PM him and see if he'll reply.

I'd probably start with wheels and suspension and then a kit or vice versa.

Very Nice Wheels Jamie!!! Like what Mike said, it looks like interlagos blue. A very nice contrast with your wheels. Great choice man.

Rims look fantastic. Now add some roundels to the center.

Your mystic blue is to die for. Great job on the rims!

Hey ECF, I think those would look pretty nice on your car. I think it would be a good match.

Thanks for the info Euro! I had 19 on my 335I and thought they were a little small, so I'm don't want to get 20's and feel the same way! Looking into m-tech kits now. Emailed Gary about a price. Guess I'm a late bloomer to this forum. Thanks again!

Well I did some math based on some forumals on the net and came up with the following numbers.

A stock 545 has a 2.96 final drive ratio and by using 1 inch taller tires than stock you lower your final drive ratio to 2.81.

This results in a 6 percent loss of torque due to gearing so for a car with 325 of torque that is roughly losing 17 foot pounds from this modification.

Not that high but signifigant.
