Got a replacement mirror in the mail the other day at a GREAT price. It even came with the new style compass which was a major plus for me. As you'll be able to see below I believe the leaking liquid inside the mirror had discolored it to a golden color. The pictures taken with the old mirror off were taken about 1.5 months later than when it was hanging. You can see how the design was spreading rapidly. Well, on to the pics of the new mirror!

Derrick, whatever that leaky thing is, you think it might be related to auto-dimming?

I believe so. When I asked my SA he asked if the car had been in a hot environment and I said 4 months in San Diego and he said that'll do it. The mirror heats up in direct sun and the liquid expands and all that stuff. Luckily I have a garage now so I shouldn't have that problem anymore.

Nice replacement Derrick. This is Melvin btw. So after staring at yours and Simon's M5 mirrors during your Orion install, I ended up picking up a set too, OEM though. Hope you're doing well man.

Nice!! My mirrors are OEM too. They cost a little more than the reps but you can resale them for almost what you paid.
