So I splurged and bought the new Michelins!!
245 35 19s and 275 30 19s

I?m pretty stoked as I pulled the trigger after reading this post from the M5 board!!

http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...pressions.html

Crazy review right?!

Well?upon a little test drive...it's ALL FRIKIN TRUE!!
I honestly have nothing more to say, other than I couldn't shake her loose to the point where if I dove into a turn harder I'd seriously risk dislocating my spinal chord!! Unreal grip fellas - unreal.

Anyway, decided to do that when I had my car at EuroRev having my rims powdercoated. I went with gloss black lips and with grey/charcoal centers.

Definitely a change to my all black look that's for sure!
They do go with my Black/CF Theme, but I think it makes my wheels look obviosuly smaller - so not sure if I'll keep them

Here are pics of the wheels and I will be reviewing the tires again periodically as I put miles on them.

Let's hear it guys - what ya think!?

Thanks tonymac - I def thought about the Hankooks and the Continental DWs, as well. Can't go wrong with either of those tires

Nice pull on the tires. Like you said, this color combo definitely makes the wheels look smaller, especially the rear.

Baller tires

Are you planning to put spacers on? Love the powdercoat color scheme

Looking good, I bet the tyres are superb!
The paint needs a polish though...

Leave it to Antti to comment about my paint - but, ur so right!! The reason is I am just waiting to complete a few more secret mods I should have complete in the next month or so before I polish her up

Also, the rims are def growing on me - it was just a shock at first!

The tires are just frikin awesome - even the ride is smoother and the steering also feels more precise!!
