New option for Aux in/USB power
This could mount in the cigarette lighter, no?

My Ride: 525i Touring (E61 2005)
Yes, this should fit into the cigarette lighter hole (beware of the enourmous bulge on the back as you can see on the video, not sure if there is enough room in our cars).
BUT: you can only connect the 3.5mm connector to your Car-audio AUX. And the USB can only be used for powering a mobile device (nothing wrong with that, but dont expect to be able to send data or audio to your car au'dio over the USB connector.
Actually this is what I installed in a couple of cars (not BMW yet, have to to my E61 still), but I alsways had to use a 12V to USB cigarettelighter adapter glue-ed in and a separate 3.5mm jack connector. The nice thing of this one is that is is all fitted in one component.
