Thanks to Knightcom, I just bought this new mount for my M-Tech front Bumper. I did not want to drill or mount tape on the bumper and it appears these guys figured out how to get around it. Take a look.

I ended up painting the underside mounts Jet Black with the Touch-Up paint I had from my E39. The best part is, when I don't want the front plate on the car (driving around my town, going to meets and showing off my car , etc..), I just unscrew the 2 bolts at the hinge and it's gone!

I'll take some pix of it soon, but thought you guys should check this company out.

Thanks Ryan. You are the man!

Great product if you must attach the plate or don't want to worry about tickets. I'll probably put mine on prior to the 3/8 meet in Cali. The dealer was kind enough to have already drilled the holes in my bumper

Looks like a good idea but you still have to put a couple screws through the bumper, you just don't have to do it on the front (visible) face...

Correct Rudy, but they are on the underside and out of sight. You will never see these holes, unless you get on all 4's and look down under the bumper. Hahahahaha! There's only 1 person on the forum that likes to get on all 4's and that would be Vegastrashed. Where's that animated gif of him bending down??? Hahahaha! That was a funny picture.

Yes, you drill underneath the bumper. If you click on the link from C's original post, you'll see details on how it mounts...

E - It attaches underneath using double sided tape and then each mount has a tap screw that keeps it nice and secure. Since I have Jet Black, it's practically invisible when the plate is off, since I painted the underside mounts.

Did I also mention it swivels/tilts. Also, the backing plates have little rubber guards so the mounts don't damage your bumper. Pretty smart idea if you ask me. And should you ever want to sell your front bumper, there's no holes, scratches, tape glue or anything. It stays nice and clean.

Except for the two holes that the screws left...

(I still think it's a nice mount, don't get me wrong... )

I could fill those 2 holes with some toothpaste, touch them up with my touch-up paint and sell it to you Rudy. I'll even throw in some old, used t-shirts for you as well.

Hahahahahaha!
